Winner in 3 national aquathlon competitions recognized

City officials recently commended and congratulated Dhana Victoria Seda of Baguio City for winning in three national aquathlon competitions held at Veromosa, Cavite.

In a resolution, local legislators stated that Seda’s incredible performance in these competitions is worthy of commendation and serves as an inspiration to other young athletes to strive for the best in their respective fields worthy of emulation by the youth.

Aquathlon is a multi-sport race consisting of continuous run and swim events where competitors complete a swim immediately followed by a run over various distances.

Seda, a senior high school student of Christian Legacy Academy, Dominican Hill, Baguio City, competed in the various categories of the aforesaid competitions.

She bagged the overall female champion and fastest female runner – Super Aquathlon Series on July 2, 2023.

Further, she was also the champion of the female category aged 16 – 19 – Aquaman Aquathlon on June 4, 2023.

Likewise, Seda was the champion under the female category age 16 -19 at the National Aquathlon Open on March 19, 2023 held at the same venue. – Dexter A. See
