Warrior’s Nest officially opened in Benguet

A nature park dubbed as “Warrior’s Nest” was officially opened to the public in a simple ceremony held at Communal Forest of Wangal, La Trinidad, Benguet on December 10, 2021.

The event was attended by Hon. Melchor Diclas, Provincial Governor of Benguet; officials of La Trinidad, Benguet led by Hon. Romeo K Salda, Municipal Mayor; and personnel of 2nd Benguet PMFC.

The “Warrior’s Nest” is a product of the collaborative efforts of Benguet 2nd PMFC personnel and La Trinidad LGU. It has a children’s park and obstacle courses that are open to the public for free.

The forest was adopted by Benguet 2nd PMFC thru MOA signed between La Trinidad LGU and DENR-Benguet on June 2, 2021. It has a total land area of 8982.81 square meters.

In his message, Gov. Diclas praised the effort of Benguet 2nd PMFC for their dedication to taking care of the environment. Likewise, he assured that the province of Benguet will always support the PNP in their programs and advocates in keeping peace and order within the province.

Further, 2nd Benguet PMFC thank the office of Governor and La Trinidad LGU for their unending support to the projects and programs. Also, remind the public who will visit the park that they should observe the Dos and Don’ts Rules of the park. (PROCOR-PIO)
