Two siblings busted, over 200K worth of shabu seized in Abra
Two siblings were arrested and more than 200K peso worth of suspected “shabu” was seized in a buy-bust operation conducted in San Quintin, Abra on December 13, 2022.
Based on the reports submitted to PROCOR Regional Director, PBGEN MAFELINO A BAZAR, the arrested suspects were identified as Alexander Alcantara Agtual, 45 years old, and Melvin Alcantara Agtual, 35 years old, both residents of Sta. Maria, Ilocos Sur.
Suspects Agtual brothers were arrested by the joint operatives of the Abra PPO Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit and San Quintin Municipal Police Station (MPS) after they sold two (2) sachets of suspected “shabu” weighing more or less 30 grams with a Standard Drug Price (SDP) of Php 204,000.00.
In a statement, PBGEN BAZAR lauded the combined operating units for another successful operation against illegal drugs in Abra. The suspects were brought to the custody of San Quintin MPS and they will now be facing charges for violation of RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002. (PROCOR-PIO / File Photos)
