Turn-over and Blessing ceremony of Youth Center Salwad building in Malibcong, Abra

A newly constructed Youth Center Building (SALWAD Building) will be officially used by the teachers and students of Mataragan National Agricultural School (MNAS) following the turnover ceremony and blessing held in Brgy. Matagaran, Malibcong, Abra on May 1, 2023.

Key officers present during the said ceremony were: PLTCOL RUEL D TAGEL, the Acting Force Commander of the RMFB15; PCPT GRAEME BOY B JAVIER, Officer-In-Charge of the 1504th Maneuver Company (MC), RMFB15; PCPT ELPIDIO E ANDONG, Team Leader of the RMFB15 in Mataragan, Malibcong, Abra; and PLT FEBERICK B TALINGDAN, Officer-In-Charge of Malibcong Municipal Police Station.

Other key personalities present during the event were Hon. Mayor Rhea M. Bacuyag of Malibcong and Sangguniang Bayan member Hon. Marry Gayban.

As the highlight of the program, PLTCOL TAGEL led the turnover of the symbolic key to Ms. Maureen Eva Barbosa, School Principal 1 of MNAS, followed by the blessing led by Fr. Franciscus A. Heru Kurniawan.

In his message, PLTCOL TAGEL recognized and thanked the different partner agencies and other private sectors that provided financial assistance and other needed support that led to the completion of the project.

The construction of the said building was initiated by the Regional Mobile Force Battalion 15 (RMFB15) under its ‘Adopt a School Program’ and was completed with the help of the teachers from the MNAS, the Local Government Unit of Malibcong, and other private sectors and stakeholders.
