Turn-over and acceptance ceremony of KADIWA vehicle

Tuba, Benguet – After the blessing and ribbon cutting of the KADIWA vehicle, the certificate of project condition and turnover was presented to MLGU Tuba Benguet with the project entitled Consultation and Marketing of Upland Agricultural commodities in support of KADIWA funded under the KADIWA Financial Grant Assistance Program in the amount of P2 million given on 21st day of September 2023 at the Municipal Ground, Tuba, Benguet.

In a message of Atty. Jennilyn M. Dawayan – CESO IV, Regional Executive Director, DA-CAR.

“May we remind the LGU to operate the vehicle as it was purposely proposed to us?

The KADIWA is a Kaagapay sa Diwa at Gawa an acronym that helps farmers bring commodities to the market, this vehicle will be used purposely for hauling or bringing in inputs or supplies for the market and at the same time bringing our commodities to KADIWA centers in Metro Manila and even or when we have the KADIWA store, we are encouraging everyone especially mayor Sal-ongan to come up with the KADIWA stores in Tuba so, we can have the commodities available as it is purposely done for KADIWA it should be affordable and available to the public,”

“This will be the purpose of the KADIWA centers that we are establishing and the vehicles that will be provided will have to get this produce from the barangays,  and from the associations,”

Tuba Mayor Clarita P. Sal-Ongan is very grateful and accepts the key for responsiveness as the key to responsibility as a purpose of the vehicle that was donated to the Municipality of Tuba.
