“Tuloy and Diwa ng Pasko”: Apayao COPS join the Gift-giving in Calayucay, Luna

In Apayao, police officers of Apayao Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMFC) together with the Alternative Learning System (ALS) Educators and the faculty members of Calayucay Elementary School conducted a Christmas gift-giving activity to students of Sitio Calayucay, Brgy. Calabigan in the town of Luna.

Using their voluntary contributions, the police officers were able to conduct a feeding program and gave snacks to a total of 100 participants.

As a Christmas holiday treat, the participants received umbrellas and assorted clothing. Also, the police officers distributed teddy bears as prizes for the winners of parlor games.

According to Apayao PMFC, since Sitio Calayucay is identified as one of the remote sitios in the municipality of Luna, they have to cross the Calayucay river with the use of the bamboo raft. (PROCOR-PIO)
