Top 8 Criminologist examinee hailed

City officials recently congratulated and commended Placido V. Abuan III of the University of the Cordilleras (UC) for ranking eighth nationwide in the recently conducted criminology licensure examination with a rating of 87 percent.

In a resolution, local legislators stated that the people and officialdom of the city are proud to commend and congratulate Abuan for showing excellence in his field that has brought tremendous pride and honor to the city being the education of the north.

Earlier, the Professional Regulations Commission (PRC) conducted the criminology licensure examination nationwide on April 3-5, 2023 in various testing centers located around the country.

Further, the PRC announced that out of the 13,000 examinees that took the said examination, 4,139 passed the said examination.

Abuan III ranked 8th nationwide in the said examination after garnering an average of 87.60 percent.

Copies of the said approved resolution will be furnished to Abuan and the UC administration for their information and guidance. – Dexter A. See
