THREE DRUG PERSONALITIES BUSTED IN OVERNIGHT OPS
Three individuals will now be facing charges for Violation of RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 after they were arrested in a separate buy-bust operation conducted in Baguio City and Kalinga.
According to the reports submitted to PROCOR Regional Director, PBGEN MAFELINO A BAZAR, the arrested suspects were identified as Mark Edrick Rafer, 35; Audrey Josh Monsalud, 25; and Christian Gragasin, 29.
In Baguio City, suspect Rafer was arrested by operatives of Naguilian Road Police Station (PS1) after he sold a sachet of suspected shabu weighing more or less 0.27 grams with a Standard Drug Price (SDP) of Php 1,836.00 in Brgy. Central Fairview Village.
In Brgy. Padre Burgos, suspect Monsalud was arrested by the operatives of Camdas Police Station (PS2) after he sold a sachet of suspected shabu weighing more or less 0.30 grams with an SDP of Php 2,040.00 to an operative who acted as a poseur buyer.
Meanwhile, in Tabuk City, Kalinga, the joint operatives of Kalinga Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU) and Tabuk City Police Station (CPS) arrested suspect Gragasin after he sold a sachet of suspected shabu weighing more or less 0.20 grams with an SDP of Php 1,360.00.
Confiscated from Gragasin are another 5 sachets of suspected shabu weighing more or less 0.70 grams with an SDP of Php 4,760.00.
The inventory of the pieces of evidence recovered was conducted on-site in the presence of the arrested suspects and witnessed by representatives from the Department of Justice (DOJ), media, and elected barangay officials.
The suspects and confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the custody of their respective operating units for documentation and proper disposition. (PROCOR-PIO / FILE PHOTOS)
