Thousands of people participated in the street parade of Benguet Adivay 2022

The street parade was held peacefully as part of the 122nd Foundation Anniversary Celebration through Adivay for this year’s theme: “A Peoples’ Festival of Culture, Nature and the Future”
It started at the Benguet Provincial Capitol grounds, Poblacion L.T.B. which ended at the Benguet Sports Center grounds, Wangal.
Led by the Camp Dangwa PNP Marching Band followed by Provincial Officials Governor Melchor D. Diclas, Congressman Eric G. Yap and Vice Governor Ericson L. Felipe and spouses, Office of the Congressman and Staff, Department Heads, Guests and VIPs (Baguio City delegates) that for the first time, Baguio City Mayor Benjamin B. Magalong, along with some councilors Leandro Yangot, Vladimir Cayabas, and Arthur Allad-iw, joined the parade. Employees of the Provincial Government and Provincial Scholars.
It was also attended by Delegates from the 13 Municipalities of Benguet led by their respective mayors Atok Mayor Franklin B. Smith, Bakun Mayor Billy V. Raymundo, Bokod Mayor Thomas K. Wales Jr., Buguias Mayor Ruben Tinda- an, Itogon Mayor Bernardo S. Waclin, Kabayan Mayor Florante B. Bantales Jr., Kapangan Mayor Manny E. Fermin, Kibungan MayorCesar M. Molitas, La Trinidad Mayor Romeo K. Salda, Mankayan Mayor Dario S. Banario, Sablan Mayor Alfredo B. Dacumos Jr., Tuba Mayor Clarita P. Sal-ongan and Tublay Mayor Armando I. Lauro.
National and Regional Government Agencies from DILG, PROCOR, BCPO, La Trinidad MPS, District Jail, Municipal Jail, BFP-CAR, BFP-La Trinidad, Judiciary, Municipal Trial Court-La Trinidad, Itogon and Mankayan also participated in the parade. Regional Trial Courts – Branch 9, Branch 8, Branch 10, Branch 62, Branch 63, and Branch 64. PAO-CAR, PAO-Benguet, PDEA-CAR, COA-CAR, COA-Benguet, DAR, DAR-Benguet, PENRO, DepEd-CAR, DepEd-Benguet, DOST-CAR, DPWH, LTO, NIA-CAR, BIR, CDA, TESDA-Wangal, DTI-Benguet, NCPI-CAR, CHED-CAR, CSC-Benguet, DA, Benguet Agri-Pinoy Trading Center (BAPTC), Registry of Deeds, PHILHEALTH Insurance Corporation – Benguet Field Office, PSA-Benguet.
Even some institutions of Benguet were also included in the parade Philex Mines, Lepanto Mines, NCGP, BENECO, HEDCOR & Luzon Hydro Corporation, SN Aboitiz Power-Benguet, Benguet Corporation, Philippine Red Cross-Benguet Chapter, Boy Scout of the Philippines ( CAR), Girl Scout of the Philippines – Benguet Council, Association of Civil Engineers of the Philippines.
Participation also with the Tallibeng Cultural Ensemble 2 delegates of Tertiary, Secondary, Elementary and Tech-Voc. School from Benguet State University, Benguet National High School, La Trinidad NHS, Alno National High School Ambiong NHS, Bineng Annex NHS, Eastern La Trinidad NHS, Puguis NHS, Benguet Technical School, Cordillera Regional Science High School.
