EcoWaste Coalition Holds Reuse Eco-Fair Promoting Plastic Waste Avoidance and Reduction

31 January 2025, Manila City.  To conclude its observance of the Zero Waste Month this January and also to celebrate its 25th year of service to the people and the environment, the EcoWaste Coalition in cooperation with the Intramuros Administration organized a “Reuse Eco-Fair” at Plaza Roma in front of the historic Manila Cathedral.  Knowing that our planet is drowning in single-use plastics, the event raised awareness and support for eco-enterprises offering sustainable solutions to the plastic pollution crisis through reuse and refill, which prevents or eliminates the generation of plastic waste.  Among the exhibitors were Back to Basics Ecostore, Caritas Manila’s Margins & Segunda Mana, Econatics Zero Waste Store, Maginhawa St. Eco-Store, Parañaque CENRO Livelihood Project, Sabon Express, Samahang Muling Pagkabuhay Multi-Purpose Cooperative and other eco-enterprises.  (PR)
