Special professional licensure exam for teachers passer hailed

City officials recently commended and congratulated Suzeth Artates Ancheta of the University of the Philippines–Baguio for topping the Special Professional Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers – Secondary last June 18, 2024.

In a resolution, local legislators stated that Ancheta’s achievement brought honor and pride to the city which is yet another testament that Baguio remains to be the undisputed Education Center of the north.

Earlier, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced that 252 out of 478 examinees were able to successfully hurdle the Special Professional Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers–Secondary given by the Board of Professional Teachers in 14 testing centers around the country last June 18, 2024.

Ancheta, who is an alumnus of UP–Baguio, was one of the examinees and was able to successfully pass the rigid examination with an average of 92.68 percent.

Her rating allowed her to place first in the list of topnotchers and those who passed the said examination allowing her to continue bringing the city to the limelight of producers of skilled, talented and knowledgeable professionals.

Copies of the approved resolution will be transmitted to Ancheta and the UP–Baguio administration for their information, guidance, ready reference and further needed action. Dexter A. See
