SM City Cauayan holds Queen Isabela Press Con, Bambanti Street Dance, and Gown Exhibit

CAUAYAN CITY, Isabela — A jubilant atmosphere filled SM City Cauayan on Saturday, January 25, as the winners of the highly anticipated Queen Bambanti 2025 pageant were presented during a press conference. The event, which brought together broadcasters, print media, and proud supporters, celebrated the success of this year’s pageant and showcased the beauty and intelligence of the newly crowned queens.

The Queen Bambanti pageant is part of the annual Bambanti Festival, a week-long celebration of Isabela’s agricultural heritage and cultural pride. This year’s edition of the pageant was fiercely competitive, with contestants from all over the province vying for the prestigious title.

The newly crowned Queen Bambanti 2025, Jarina K. Sandhu, from Cauayan City, stood out for her grace, poise, and commitment to empowering the young Isabeleñas. Jarina will serve as the festival’s ambassador, helping to promote the province’s agricultural sector on both a national and international level. She will represent the province of Isabela in the Miss Universe PH 2025.

Joining her were Mhira Angelene P. Valenciano from Cordon, Queen Isabela Tourism; Johnlene E. Ariola from the City of Ilagan, Queen Isabela Culture and the Arts; Jhudiel Eunisse M. Taguinod from Echague, 1st Runner-Up; and Criselle Anne Gregorio from Ramon, 2nd Runner-Up.

During the press conference, the queens shared their excitement and gratitude for the opportunity to serve their province.

On the same day, the excitement and energy of the Bambanti Street Dance and Showdown reached the mall goers as the lively and colorful spectacle featured talented dancers from the towns of Luna, Echague, and Cauayan City. They thrilled the spectators with their vibrant costumes, creative choreography, and high-energy performances. At least 229 dancers performed their entries in the recently concluded competition.

Moreover, the Queen Isabela Gowns exhibit which was set up at the mall’s Cinema Bridgeway, highlighted the exquisite craftsmanship and artistry of Isabela’s homegrown fashion talents. Each gown showcased not only the designers’ unique styles but also reflected the cultural and agricultural heritage of the province, making the exhibit a true tribute to the rich traditions of Isabela.
