SM City Cauayan features local Bamboo Artist during 124th Philippine Independence Day Celebration

CAUAYAN CITY, Isabela- In celebration of the 124th celebration of Philippine Independence, the management of SM City Cauayan led by Ms. Shiela Marie Estabillo, mall manager, featured works of art made with bamboo materials, the exhibit found on the ground floor in Bldg. A.

Cung Nung Thian specializes in bamboo as a medium to bring his creativity into artwork. Some of his masterpieces were exhibited to recognize his contribution to the local artists’ industry.

Thian is currently the President of Isabela Artist Circle, Cauayan City Bamboo Chapter, and is recognized as one of the Top 20 Best Artists of isabela.

Estabillo said patriotism can be shown by simply abiding the law, casting votes, caring for nature, and being fully vaccinated with Covid-19. She also urged the public to patronize local products.
