SM City Baguio, University of the Cordilleras ink MOA for Academe Partnership

SM Baguio formally established a collaborative partnership with the University of the Cordilleras for the university’s students and alumni through a memorandum of agreement renewal for another three (3) years signed Tuesday, September 05, 2023. The academic partnership highlights the recruitment and job placement, internship programs, and learning sessions for the students of the university.

SM City Baguio will also provide their students the opportunity to take part in the company’s internship programs and learning sessions which will help students be equipped with knowledge and skills when they embark in the corporate world.

The Human Resource Department of SM Supermalls spearheaded the academic partnership program.

The contract signing was attended by Dr. Nancy M. Flores – UC President for Administration and Academic Services, Dr. Rhodora A. Ngolob UC Vice President for Administration and Academic Services  – and Engel M. Sabado, Officer, Career Center and Alumni Relations, University of the Cordilleras.

SM City Baguio was represented by Regional Human Resource Manager, Ms. Irene J. Peralta, Ms. Rona Vida B. Correa, Regional Operations Manager, and Ms. Gigi C. Soriano, Regional Recruitment Officer.

SM Supermalls has been helping communities where SM is present and one of its objectives in community development is through academic linkages. ### (PR)
