SM City Baguio created a Hired on the Spot job for the 122nd Labor Day Celebration

BAGUIO CITY – (May 1, 2024) –  The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE-CAR) through the local Public Employment Service Peso (PESO) and the local government of Baguio together with SM City Baguio joined hands to celebrate the 122nd Labor Day and opening of the Job Fair: Hired On The Spot (HOTS) on May 1, 2024 at the Atrium, SM City Baguio.

The total number of participating companies from SM City Baguio is 25 and around 300 vacancies.

The ONE STOP SHOP for government and private services also participates in Job Fair  PSA, DTI, PhilHealth, SSS Baguio, PAGIBIG, BIR, PhilPost, and DFA.

SM City Baguio Assistant Mall Manager Michael Jason Peña thanked the Department of Labor and Employment Regional Director Nathaniel Lacambra and the local government of Baguio Mayor Benjamin Magalong, the Public Employment Service Office, the industry associations, and employers.

Mayor Magalong thanked SM City Baguio for initiating the Job Fair and was also very thankful to DOLE-CAR for always being there helping the City of Baguio because Baguio City has the highest employment rate in the entire country which is 98 percent and the unemployment rate is at 2 percent.
