SM and Isabela State University renews Academe Partnership

Cauayan City, Isabela – SM City Cauayan signed another three-year academic partnership Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Isabela State University on recently. With the renewed MOA, both SM and ISU will work together to secure outstanding opportunities that will give mutual benefit to the two institutions.

Present during the MOA renewal signing were SM representatives headed by Ms. Sheila Marie D. Estabillo, the Regional Operations Manager for North 2 & 3, Marjorie Joan Agbayani, Human Resource Manager for North 2, Mr. Rowinson Valmonte, SM City Cauayan Assistant Mall Manager, Ms. Ina Balayan, SM City Cauayan HR Officer, Mr. Pio Salvador, SM City Cauayan Marketing Officer along with ISU University President, Dr. Ricmar P. Aquino, VP for Academic Affairs, Dr. Boyet L. Batang, VP for Planning and Development, Dr. Jay P. Chy, VP for Administrative and Finance Services, Atty. Romano P. Cammayo, VP for Research and Development, Extension and Training, Dr. Orlando F. Balderama, University Director for Public Affairs and External Linkages, Dr. Isagani P. Angeles and Executive Officer, Dr. Jose P. Gallena Jr.

The agreement aims to formally establish a partnership between both parties to help immerse the students in the process of recruitment and job placement, internship programs, and learning sessions in preparation for their future careers. Furthermore, SM City Cauayan and Isabela State University will also collaborate to create jobs for their students at SM Malls. This includes coordinated projects that will have a greater impact on hiring, job placement, and possible learning sessions at the SM Internship Program. ### (PR)
