SINE-CORDILLERA CULTURAL DRAMA FILM

BAGUIO CITY – Hindi lingid sa ating mga taga Cordilleran ang natatanging kakayahan kahit saan sila linangin ay madaling matuto ito at naipapakita nila na kayang gampanan ng bawat isang Cordilleran kahit sa panahon ng pandemiya lakas loob nila hinaharap ang mga pagsubok sa araw-araw na iikot ang buhay nila sa simpleng kabuhayan at dito natin masisilayan kung anong buhay ang meron sila na maipagmamalaki ng mga katutubo sa Cordillera” Ito ang isang bungad na magbubukas sa kaisipan ng isang tao, mararamdaman sa kanyang puso at maaantig ito kapag napanood niya ang pinakakapanabik na maikling pelikula na mula sa taga Indigenous People sa Cordillera.
Sinabi ni Direct Jian Lin-Movie Producer na akmang-akma ito sa panahon ngayon ng pandemiya, “The director in Manila who is very well in short film has invited me to be part and to make a Cordilleran film to be in competition for local and international film, so this is good news because we are able to showcase our Cordilleran talents,”
“We are requesting to support all kakailyan in Baguio-Benguet, Social media, bloggers, help us to promote the culture of Cordillera and we are happy that we have the means and resources. We are starting the shoot from Monday to the end of this month, and the finish product will be first week of March”
“This film is very timely about the hashtag Igorot challenge before pandemic meron na talagang movie na supposed to be na I produce the thing is sometimes opportunities comes na biglaan, now nabigyan kami ng opportunity and then kahit na in a short period of time we wanted to show what can Igorot genuine talent can do, ekasakto rin ito na sana mapanood ng DepEd upang siguro maunawaan at maging malinaw sa kanila ng magkaron ng isyu tungkol sa mga modules na mga kakailyan pa na Igorots ang diniin sa ginawang hindi magandang mga halimbawa at upang mai correct rin ang stereotypes sa modules, kaya ito na ang panahon na magiging sagot that we could show the entire world on what is real culture of the Cordillera,”
“Its about the livelihood of Kankanaeys in Cordillera, we will be showcasing cultural attribute, how we value to a culture since 600 years ago doing Spaniards pa hanggang ngayon at paano natin nakuha, iikot sa livelihood sa Itogon at papano makakabangon ang isang Cordilleran sa hindi inaasahang pandemniya kasama ito sa cultural drama
“We have a consultation from the IP’s ginawa ang research nito almost a year kaya protected tayo sa mga Indigeneous Peoples mula sa Kankanaey, Ibaloy, Kalinga, Tingguian at Isneg,”
“Sa mga nag audition ay nakaka proud talaga magagaling sila halos wala ka talaga itatapon, I hope na mabibigyan namin sila ng chance lahat ng mga talent natin and must to show their skills to perform and we choose the right one,”
“This will be a genuine film and create something na kakaiba sa lahat yun masasabi natin na talagang pang global competition, We have four location shoot and the team will be hiring lot of people from that area abrupt, actually hindi pa tapos yun casting natin, so meron na kaming plan na kumuha doon na mismo ng mga iP’s na kakailyans na Cordilleran, makakatulong rin ang film na ito in the end sa kanilang community.” Pagtatapos ni Jian Lin FNS/ Mario Oclaman
