SINAG-KIDLAT celebrates their anniversary with a Lola

Two years ago, members of the Class 2020-01 SINAG-KIDLAT joined the Philippine National Police and took their oath to serve and protect.

Now on their second year in the police service, members of the class assigned in Ifugao Police Provincial Office opted to celebrate their class anniversary with an outreach program in Brgy. Halag Proper, Aguinaldo, Ifugao.

Their beneficiary is Lola Rosita Domingo, an 84-year-old Lola living alone in a shanty house. Due to the pandemic, she has no stable source of income.

From their voluntary contributions of the class, they were able to give food packs containing rice, coffee, noodles, and canned goods. Also, Lola Rosita received one water drum, kitchen utensils, and one-bed mattress.

Also, they replaced the pit toilet of Lola and constructed a new comfort room for her.

The celebration further extended when the police officers of the 2nd Ifugao Provincial Mobile Force Company conducted a feeding program and distributed a total of 24 food packs to 24 senior citizens in the said barangay.

According to the 2nd Ifugao PMFC, to reach the area they traveled for about five (5) hours passing through a rocky and muddy road.(PROCOR-PIO)
