SEVEN PRO-COR COPS AWARDED FOR THEIR NOTABLE ACCOMPLISHMENT

Seven (7) police officers from the different units of the Police Regional Office Cordillera (PRO COR) were awarded PNP Medals in recognition of their efforts and commendable performance in their sworn duties and responsibilities during the Traditional Monday Flag Raising Ceremony held at Masigasig Grandstand, Camp Major Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet, on June 19, 2023.

PRO COR Regional Director, PBGEN DAVID K PEREDO, JR., and City Prosecutor Conrado V. Catral Jr. of Baguio City led the presentation of the PNP Medals to the deserving PRO COR personnel.

PCOL JUGITH DEL PRADO, Chief of the Regional Investigation and Detective Management Division (RIDMD), and PCOL MAURICE NABUNAT, JR., Assistant Chief of the RIDMD, were awarded the Medalya ng Kasanayan (PNP Efficiency Medal) for their invaluable services rendered as facilitators in the successful conduct of the National Police Clearance System (NPCS) Userโ€™s Training held on June 4โ€“8, 2023.

The same award was given to PCMS Domingo Wahigon of the Ifugao Police Provincial Office (PPO) for his excellent performance of duty, which resulted in his completion as a certified police investigator during the certification program for investigators.

Also, PSMS Estefanie Basatan of Mountain Province PPO received the same award for her meritorious and invaluable performance of duty, which resulted in the successful promulgation of judgment in favor of the People of the Philippines under Criminal Case No. 201-12-19-87 for the crime of Acts of Lasciviousness.

The same award was given to PEMS Elvira Casionan of the Baguio City Police Office for her commendable and invaluable performance of duty, which resulted in the successful promulgation of judgment in favor of the People of the Philippines under Criminal Case No. CICL 386-2019 for the crime RA.9262.

Meanwhile, Medalya ng Kagalingan (PNP Medal of Merit) was awarded to PCpl Charmaine Kaye Manuel and PCpl Jemuel Madino of Benguet PPO for their meritorious and invaluable service rendered in the successful service of a warrant of arrest against an individual listed as No. 6 Top Most Wanted Person, Provincial Level of Benguet PPO, for the 2nd Quarter CY 2023.

Further, Certificates of Appreciation were received by PCOL REGUEL SANTAMARIA, Chief of the Regional Headquarters Support Unit (RHSU), for being adjudged the cleanest office during the office inspection from June 2โ€“16, 2023. (PRO COR โ€“ PIO / File Photos)
