Safe in the hands of RMFB15 Police Officers and Kennon Road Police Station after seeing a senior citizen with Alzheimer’s disease in Baguio City
A senior citizen who is suffering from Alzheimer’s disease was reunited with his family after he went missing while on vacation in Baguio City.
According to the Regional Mobile Force Battalion 15 (RMFB15), they immediately alerted all their units to conduct patrolling after receiving information about an elderly man who lost his way while visiting a mall in Baguio City on August 5.
The same report disclosed that the Technical Support Company (TSC) of the RMFB15, under the supervision of PCPT JIM CRIS D DAGDAG, the Officer-in-Charge of TSC, found the said elderly, identified as Mr. Victor “Vic” Advento, 69 years old, a resident of Laguna, at a waiting shed in Camp 4, Tuba, Benguet, on the late evening of August 7, 2023, while they were conducting mobile patrol.
He was immediately turned over to the Baguio City Police Office (CPO), Kennon Road Police Station (PS8) and was received by PCPT LAURENCE C ASPILAN, the Deputy Station Commander of Kennon Road PS8, where he was given clothing and food to eat.
Subsequently, Mr. Advento was brought to Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center (BGHMC) for medical assistance because he has pelvic and lower back injuries (Abrasion Glutea Area).
Mr. Advento’s family was grateful to be reunited with him. They also thanked the police officers of the RMFB15 and the Kennon Road Police Station for their quick action and for providing needed assistance. (PRO COR-PIO /File Photos)
