SAF 44, Memory lives on, sacrifices never forgotten – PRO COR RD PEREDO JR

PRO Cordillera Regional Director, PBGEN DAVID K PEREDO, JR, visited the final resting place of PO2 Peterson Carap at the Pyramid Memorial Park Cemetery in Buyagan, La Trinidad, on November 1, 2023.

PBGEN PEREDO, JR, offered his prayers and lit candles at the tomb of PO2 Carap, ensuring that his memory lives on and his sacrifices are never forgotten.

PO2 Carap is one of the SAF 44 heroes. The SAF 44 lost their lives during a  high-risk special operation in a remote area of Mamasapano in Maguindanao eight years ago. Of the 44 troopers, 14 are police officers from the Cordillera region who showed courage and valiantly made the ultimate sacrifice for the nation. (PRO CORDILLERA-PIO / File Photos)
