RMDU-COR VISITS SADANGA, MT. PROVINCE

As part of their continuous program to reach out to various communities in the region, police officers of Regional Medical and Dental Unit-Cordillera (RMDU-COR) visited Sadanga Central School in Sadanga, Mt. Province on February 28, 2022.

In partnership with Mt. Province PPO and the Department of Health (DOH), the police officers of RMDU COR provided free medical consultation, dental check-ups, fluoride application, and health teachings on how to maintain proper & good oral hygiene for the learners of the said school.

Aside from the medical and dental services, parlor games were also facilitated by the personnel of DOH with dental health kits, and freebies were given as prizes to the winners while RMDU-COR gave 175 stuffed toys to selected pupils.

Covid-19 vaccine booster dose and pneumococcal vaccines were also given to the teachers and staff of Sadanga Central School.

As part of the program, DOH donated dental supplies for the dental clinic of the said school.

In total, 205 individuals benefited from the medical and dental outreach program.

Also, as part of their visit to Sadanga, RMDU-COR personnel inspected the Sadanga MPS for their Safety Seal Certification application and checked the activities of their Station Health Unit.

RMDU-COR also inoculated the personnel of Sadanga MPS with Covid-19 vaccine booster dose and pneumococcal vaccines. (PROCOR-PIO)
