Revitalized Pulis sa Barangay discussion with PCR Director PMGEN EDGAR O OKUBO

Committed to align and accelerate its community policing efforts in the region, PNP and PRO Cordillera key officers convened at the PRO Cordillera Log Cabin, Camp Major Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet, for the cascading of Memorandum Circular (MC) No.2024-006 Revitalized Pulis sa Barangay (R-PSB) in line with the Unit Performance Evaluation Rating (UPER) and Annual Operations Plans and Budget (AOPB) FY 2024 and Buhay Ingatan, Droga’y Ayawan (BIDA) Validation held on March 15, 2024.

The activity was presided over by The Director for Police Community Relations, PMGEN EDGAR O OKUBO. It was physically attended by the Officer-in-Charge (OIC) of the Area Police Command-Northern Luzon (APC-NL), PMGEN MAFELINO A BAZAR, other members of the command group, and other key officers of PRO-Cordillera, Regional Director PBGEN DAVID K. PEREDO JR. while the Chief of Community Affairs and Development Unit and focal persons of R-PSB and BIDA validation of PPOs and CPOs virtually attended via  Zoom platform.

As part of the validation, the Chief of the Regional Community Affairs and Development Division, PCOL BYRON B TEGUI-IN presented the commendable achievements of PRO Cordillera, showcasing the outcomes based on the UPER for the 4th quarter of CY 2023.

The cascading of MC No. 2024-006 signifies a renewed vigor of PRO Cordillera cops to improve the services provided to the community, especially in its commitment to fostering safer communities and combating illicit drug activities under the BIDA program. (PRO CORDILLERA PIO)
