RD BAZAR PRE-DEPLOY PERSONNEL FOR #KardingPH

In preparation for the onslaught of Super Typhoon #KardingPH, Police Regional Office Cordillera (PROCOR) Regional Director, PBGEN MAFELINO ASPER BAZAR ordered the pre-deployment of police officers for the efficient and effective typhoon response in the region.

According to the reports from the Regional Community Affairs and Development Division, a total of 986 search and rescue trained personnel is now on standby while a total of 1,482 were put on alert as Reactionary Standby Support Force.

The Regional Director has also instructed the different unit commanders in PROCOR to coordinate with their respective local Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (DRRMO) for the organized and coordinated deployment of personnel during the typhoon.

According to the Tropical Cyclone Bulletin issued at 2:00 PM on September 25, 2022, by @dost_pagasa, Super Typhoon “#KardingPH” maintained its strength as it endangers Polillo Islands.

In the Cordillera Region, Benguet was placed under TCWS No. 2 while the southern portion of Apayao (Conner), Kalinga, Abra, Mountain Province, and Ifugao were placed under TCWS No. 1. (PROCOR-PIO)
