Ray Casa Group of Companies Hosts Victory Bash for MMA Champions “Landslide” Folayang and the “The Passion” Pacio
Lions Nation MMA with Ray Casa Group of Companies and RNJ Hotel, throws a victory party for two-time One Lightweight World Champion Eduard “Landslide” Folayang and five-time One Strawweight MMA World Champion, Joshua “The Passion” Pacio.
The victory party was held at RNJ Hotel, Quezon Hill 2, Baguio City, this Saturday, October 14, 2023, sponsored by Ray Casa Group of Companies and RNJ Hotel to show unending support to the champions and talented artists of the film, “1941: Cordillera Iti Ima Ti Gubat”, directed by CEO-COO Ms. Jennylyn Floresca a.k.a Direk Jianlin and produced by Be Unrivaled Productions, where the former Team Lakay members acted as strong mountain warriors during the Japanese colonial era. The Sine Cordillera Film and Be Unrivaled Productions is the corporate social responsibility of Ray Casa Group of Companies where they produce award-winning films to showcase the beauty of Cordilleran heritage, music, arts, and talented artists to the world. The Sine Cordillera Films has bagged multiple awards at the International Film Festival Manhattan for their films “Dayas”, for the Short Movie of the Year, “Asan si Judith?” (Where’s Judith), and “Di lahat ng Ina ay Babae” (“Not all Mothers are Women”) for the Gold Achievement Award.
Folayang’s career was changed by this victory, which gave him his first taste of triumph versus Khan in the undercard of ONE Fight Night 14 at the Singapore Indoor Stadium, after almost four years and ended his five-fight losing streak. While Pacio, following a unanimous decision win on ONE Fight Night 15 at Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, former ONE strawweight world champion Joshua Pacio of Lions Nation MMA handed Mansur Malachiev his first loss.
After departing from his long-standing organization. Team Lakay, Folayang created Lions Nation MMA at the former Team Lakay facility renamed and rebuilt Landslide Martial Arts Training Center in La Trinidad, Benguet, with longtime teammates Kevin Belingon, Honorio Banario, Joshua Pacio, Edward Kelly and Jeremy Pacatiw.

Pacio will be having a rematch with Jarred Books which could be headed to Tokyo. The first encounter between the two strawweight mixed martial artists took place in Pacio’s native Manila, the Philippines. The strawweight MMA title of ONE was won by Brooks against Pacio by unanimous decision, but the contest was so close that the American immediately proposed a rematch if Pacio would go to the country. ### (PR)
