Quiksilver Opens 10th Store in the Philippines at SM Baguio

Area Sales head Shy Aquino said, “We opened our new store here in SM City Baguio and just reached out to the Cordilleran Community. These are international brands, and one of the company’s missions and visions is to bring the brand clothes to the Filipino community. Because these are most available abroad, we’re giving the quality of the product to the local community so that it is reachable even in the province.
“We hope that the local community will also embrace the price because this is not only for surfer or surfing activity but also for casual which is also available for weather in Baguio,”
“And we have around 350 stores nationwide under Primer group of company so, around 3,000 employees as of now, the company has been affected by the pandemic but then we recovering and we are happy that somehow the appreciation of Filipinos for international brands is still there,”
“Our store provides staff with basic benefits, SSS, and PhilHealth. We also offer store incentives if they meet the target, and we give bigger incentives to our staff,” Aquino concluded.
The grand opening featured a live performance by Reggae Set Go Band, whose upbeat reggae tunes created a lively atmosphere. The Baguio community embraced the celebration, with locals performing the traditional “siwsiwit” dance in front of the store, symbolizing blessings and good fortune and adding a warm, cultural touch to the event.
