PROCOR Women awarded for Meritorious Acts
Camp Major Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet – (Mar 1, 2021) – In line with the National Women’s Month celebration, six PROCOR women were recognized for their invaluable services to the PNP and the community during the Monday flag raising program held at Camp Major Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet.
PSSg Heidi B. Juliano of Baguio CPO was awarded with Medalya ng Kagalingan (PNP Medal of Merit) for her contribution in the successful buy-bust operation that resulted in the arrest of a High Value Individual (HVI).
Patrolwoman Kashmere P. Bangtowan of Regional Mobile Force Battalion 15 was awarded with Medalya ng Kasanayan (PNP Efficiency Medal) for her contribution in the “Badang Kabuhayan Project” providing poultry farm livelihood for 15 families in Tublay. Also, NUP Rosemarie B. Behis of Baguio CPO, received the same medal for her role in the successful “Adopt a Family” where a home was put up for a senior citizen resident of Loakan, Baguio City.
Further, PSSg Marites W. Gayaso of Benguet PPO was given the Medalya ng Papuri (PNP Commendation Medal) for her participation on the Search Warrant that resulted to the arrest of an individual for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 (RA 9165) and the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act (RA 10591).
The same award was given to PCpl Gerlie M. Ayban for her service during the Brigada Eskwela and Gift Giving at Taloy National High School, Tuba, Benguet and to NUP Marinel S. Lucio for being an organizer in the successful gift giving at Irisan National High School, Baguio City.
The awards were presented by the event’s Guest Speaker Ms. Kristine E. Molitas, a distinguished Igorota public speaker and co-founder of Bayanihan Cordillera, in recognition to the role of women in law enforcement. (PROCOR RPIO)
