PROCOR WELCOMES PNP AVSEGROUP DIRECTOR
As the distinguished guest of honor and speaker during the PROCOR’s Distinguished Visitor Program (DVP), PNP Aviation Security Group Director, PBGEN YSMAEL S YU, was warmly welcomed by the men and women of PROCOR with a traditional Cordilleran dance at Camp Major Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet on March 4, 2022.
In his arrival honor, PBGEN YU was received by the Chief Regional Staff, PCOL ELMER R RAGAY.
Likewise, awarding of deserving personnel of the Aviation Unit was presented by PBGEN YU. He was assisted by PROCOR Regional Director, PBGEN RONALD O LEE.
During PBGEN YU’s message, he shared how the Aviation Security Group works in the midst of the pandemic.
“The PNP Aviation Security Group keeps on working closely with the IATF in the airports to make sure that travelers are still safe from the virus and do not impose a threat to the public. Even though the status of various places in our country has dropped to Alert Level 1, we are still vigilant in implementing the minimum health standards to the passengers for the safety of the majority.”
As his guidance on the upcoming May National and Local Elections 2022, PBGEN YU reminded the PROCOR Cops to be mindful in performing their duties for a fair electoral period. He also emphasized the role of the members of PNP in maintaining a non-partisan, neutral stand to ensure a successful turn-in of votes during the election day.
Further, the PNP AVSEGROUP Director recognized the role of women in line with the celebration of Women’s month.
“Remember that also this month of March, is a month of our women where we celebrate National Women’s month… This will serve as a tribute, a credit, and an encouragement that will highlight the extraordinary roles of women in our society as pathfinders, forerunners of change”. (PROCOR-PIO)
