PROCOR weeklong anti-drug campaign hauls 10 drug personalities, 9.8-M worth of illegal drugs seized
The week-long anti-illegal drugs operations conducted by PROCOR Cops have resulted in the arrest of ten drug personalities and a total of 9,808,880 worth of illegal drugs were seized from March 20-26, 2022.
Citing the reports submitted to PROCOR Regional Director, PBGEN RONALD O LEE, the series of operations conducted by PROCOR cops and PDEA-CAR resulted in the arrest of ten drug personalities. Five in Baguio City, three in Kalinga, and two in Benguet while a total of 27 marijuana plantation sites were eradicated in Benguet.
In Baguio City, arrested drug personalities were identified as Marvin Aluyen, 33; Hannah Alcantar, 41; Rodel Lingganay, 35; Lindu Gonzaga, 31; and Jose Dela Cruz; 40.
In Kalinga, the arrested drugs personalities were identified as John Rinze Viloria, 22; Giovannie Emperado, 34; and Carl Duclan, 21.
While in Benguet, the arrested drug personalities were Sebastien Kamura, 20, and Garinzon Milo, 39.
The separate buy-bust operations conducted resulted in the seizure of a total of 89.1 grams of suspected shabu with a Standard Drug Price amounting to Php 605,880.00 and the confiscation of a total of 2,000 grams of marijuana bricks with an SDP of Php 240,000.00.
All arrested suspects will be facing charges for violation of RA9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Meanwhile, the marijuana eradication conducted in Benguet led to the destruction of a total of 32,465 fully grown marijuana plants (FGMJP) and 10,000 marijuana seedlings in parts of Bakun, and Kibungan with an SDP of Php 8,963,000.00.
All discovered fully grown marijuana plants were uprooted were burned on site. (PROCOR-PIO)
