PROCOR recommended for ISO Certification

The Police Regional Office Cordillera (PROCOR) under the leadership of the Regional Director, PBGEN DAVID K PEREDO, JR., is now recommended for ISO Certification after successfully passing the  ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS) Certification Audit, Stages 1 and 2, conducted by TUV Rheinland Philippines, Inc.

It can be recalled that the Stage 1 audit was conducted in the PROCOR Regional Headquarters, Benguet Police Provincial Office (PPO), and La Trinidad Municipal Police Station (MPS) on May 3, while the Stage 2 onsite audit was conducted on June 7-9, 2023.

During the last day of the Stage-2 audit, the certifying body, headed by Ms. Jogina Mendiola, presented their findings and confirmed that PROCOR is compliant with the standard requirements and has Zero Major NonConformity and Zero Minor NonConformity.

Present to witness the momentous event were members of the Command Group; Regional Staff, the Provincial Director of the Benguet Police Provincial Office (PPO), the Chief of the Regional Headquarters Support Unit (RHSU), the Regional Executive Senior Police Officer (RESPO), Chief, Scorecard Management and Alignment Branch (SMAB), Regional Police Strategy Management Unit (RPSMU), the Chief of Police of the La Trinidad Municipal Police Station (MPS); Quality Management Team (QMT) members, and ISO focal persons, while virtual attendees were focal personnel of the Regional Headquarters (RHQ), Benguet PPO, and La Trinidad MPS.

In his message, PBGEN PATRICK JOSEPH ALLAN, the Deputy Regional Director for Administration (DRDA), extended his gratitude to the TUVR team for successfully conducting the three-day ISO onsite audit and commended the personnel of PROCOR for their hard work in complying with all the requirements of the said audit and in ensuring the consistent delivery of quality service to the public.

ISO 9001 is the international standard for a quality management system (QMS), and it requires an organization to conduct a two-stage registration audit to become certified. (PROCOR-PIO / File Photos)
