PROCOR RD PEREDO JR. assured a peaceful BSKE 2023, with 329 personnel deployed in Abra

A press conference with the PRO Cordillera Regional Director, PBGEN DAVID K PEREDO, JR, was held at the Gov. Andres Bernos Hall, Camp Col Juan Villamor, Calaba, Bangued, Abra on October 28, 2023.

During the press conference, PBGEN PEREDO, JR, was interviewed by the GMA Regional TV and News TV5 regarding the preparations of the PRO Cordillera in the forthcoming Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) 2023.

In his interview, the Regional Director gave updates on the general situation of the Cordillera region in relation to the BSKE 2023.

He also added that the region is generally peaceful with effective security deployment plans and strategic initiatives, as the PRO Cordillera deployed a total of 329 personnel in the different areas of Abra province to ensure the safety and security of our Kakailyans before,  during, and after the conduct of BSKE 2023.

BGen Peredo Jr appealed to the public to be vigilant and not to hesitate to report any illegal activity to the authorities, especially vote buying/selling.
