PROCOR opens Disaster Preparedness, Search & Rescue, and Relief Operation seminar

As part of the continuous efforts of the Police Regional Office Cordillera (PROCOR) in capacitating police officers in responding to natural disasters and calamities, the PROCOR Regional Learning and Doctrine Development Division (RLDDD) initiated a 5-day seminar on Preparedness, Search & Rescue, and Relief Operations.

During the opening ceremony on September 12 at the Maringal Hall in Camp Major Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet, PROCOR Regional Director, PBGEN MAFELINO A BAZAR, graced the program as the guest of honor and speaker.

A total of 50 participants from RMFB15, Benguet 1st & 2nd PMFC, and Baguio CMFC attended the said seminar.

The seminar consists of lectures on PNP Disaster Response Checklist, Disaster Incident Management, Community Preparedness Response, and Post Actions to Calamity. Included also in the seminar are the practical exercises on Rope Course, High Angle Rescue, and Basic Life Support. (PROCOR-PIO / File photos)
