PROCOR nabs two drugs personalities in Baguio

Two individuals were now facing charges for violation of RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 after they were caught in a separate buy-bust operation in Baguio City on May 15, 2022.

Based on the reports submitted to PROCOR Regional Director, PBGEN RONALD OLIVER LEE, the suspects were identified as Arjay Fidelino Simeon, 25, and Rey Christopher Navarro Abero, 38.

Joint operatives of BCPO Abanao Police Station (PS7), BCPO City Drug Enforcement Unit, and PDEA-CAR arrested suspect “Arjay” at Brgy. Burnham-Legarda after he sold one (1) plastic sachet of suspected shabu weighing more or less 0.70 grams with a standard drug price (SDP) of Php 4,760.00 to an operative acting as poseur buyer.

Also, one (1) plastic sachet containing suspected dried marijuana leaves weighing more or less 0.90 grams with an SDP of Php 108.00 was confiscated from his possession.

Meanwhile, in a separate operation at Abanao St. Extension, operatives of the City Drug Enforcement Unit of Baguio CPO, arrested suspect “Rey” after he sold one (1) plastic sachet of suspected shabu weighing more or less 0.5 grams with an SDP of Php 3,400.00.

In the course of his arrest, another plastic sachet of suspected shabu weighing MOL 0.4 grams with an SDP of Php 2,720.00 was confiscated from his possession.

Inventory of the pieces of evidence recovered was conducted on-site in the presence of the suspects and witnessed by DOJ and media representatives while the suspects and the confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the respective stations for documentation and proper disposition.
