PROCOR gives financial assistance to Two Rebel Returnees

CAMP MAJOR BADO DANGWA, La Trinidad, Benguet- (June 1, 2021) – As they start anew, PROCOR Regional Director, PBGEN RONALD O LEE handed over cash assistance and bags of groceries to two rebel returnees during the Monday Flag Raising Ceremony held at Masigasig Grandstand, Camp Major Bado Dangwa La Trinidad Benguet on May 31.

During the Flag Raising Ceremony, alias “Diego” and “Javier” were presented and have given their messages likewise, denounced their allegiance to the Communist Terrorist Groups (CTGs). They have also turned-over their firearms, ammunitions and a fragmentation grenade to PBGEN LEE. 

This was followed by the giving of cash aid and groceries which was personally handed by PBGEN LEE to the two returnees.

To note, with the Benguet PPO’s “Coplan Taas Kamay”, alias “Diego” and “Javier”, who were both listed in the Periodic Status Report for Threat Groups (PSRTG) during the 4th Quarter of 2020 under the KLG-Abra, Mountain Province and Ilocos Sur (KLG-AMPIS) of the Ilocos-Cordillera Regional Committee surrendered last May 27 at Benguet PPO after 15 years of hiding from the mountain.
