PROCOR formally welcomes New Regional Director
Camp Major Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet – (April 13, 2021) – The men and women of Police Regional Office Cordillera officially welcomed the new Regional Director, PBGEN RONALD OLIVER LEE, during the turn-over of command ceremony held in the afternoon of April 12, 2021 at Camp Major Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet.
Following his designation on April 5, 2021, PBGEN RONALD OLIVER LEE received the PROCOR flag and Inventory Book from outgoing Regional Director PBGEN R’WIN S PAGKALINAWAN, symbolizing the passing of authority and responsibilities entailed by the position.
Presiding the ceremony is the Director of the Directorate for Integrated Police Operations (DIPO) – Northern Luzon, PLTGEN ISRAEL EPHRAIM T DICKSON, whose stint as PROCOR Regional Director in 2019 was marked by the recognition of PROCOR being the “Home of the Most Disciplined Cops”.
As he officially relinquished his post, PBGEN PAGKALINAWAN presented an audio-visual presentation highlighting the best practices of the Police Regional Office Cordillera under his term. He also received the _Medalya ng Katapatan sa Paglilingkod_ (PNP Distinguished Service Medal) for his remarkable leadership as PROCOR Regional Director from February 2020 to April 2021.
PBGEN LEE in his assumption of office message, acknowledged the advocacies of the previous leadership and committed to carry on what his predecessor has started in the promotion of peace and order in the Cordilleras. He further reminded PROCOR personnel to impose and observe strict discipline among their ranks, especially to those who are new in the service.
Meanwhile, representing the Chief PNP as guest of honor and speaker for the event, PLTGEN DICKSON extended his congratulations to the outgoing commander. He enjoined the men and women of PROCOR to give their utmost cooperation to the new Regional Director, PBGEN LEE, as they have with him during his term and with the outgoing leadership. (PROCOR RPIO)
