Police officers of the Baguio City Police Office (BCPO), Benguet Police Provincial Office (PPO), and Regional Mobile Force Battalion 15 (RMFB15) together with the Catholic devotees participated in a procession on Good Friday in front of the Baguio Cathedral of Our Lady of the Atonement.
The procession of clergy and penitents is done to commemorate the passion of Jesus Christ and is also known as the Holy Burial or the Entombment of Christ, is a religious tradition observed during Good Friday.
Further, the Santo Entierro is a particularly significant tradition, where it is often celebrated with great fervor and devotion. The procession and other observances associated with the Santo Entierro are a way for Catholics to connect with their faith, express their devotion, and seek spiritual renewal during the Holy Week period.
