PROCOR CONFERS AWARDS TO FOUR UNITS AND FIVE PERSONNEL

The Police Regional Office Cordillera, under the leadership of the Regional Director, PBGEN DAVID PEREDO, JR., recognizes four different units and five outstanding personnel for their valuable contributions during the month-long celebration of Police Community Relations (PCR).

The awardees received their PNP medals from Atty. Samantha Jean Hamada, representing Hon. Mayor Benjamin Magalong of Baguio City and PBGEN PEREDO JR. during the Traditional Monday Flag Raising Ceremony held on July 31, 2023, at Camp Major Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet.

For the Unit Awardees, the Medalya ng Kasanayan (PNP Efficiency Medal) was awarded to the Mt. Province Police Provincial Office (PPO) for being the Outstanding Police Provincial Office and the Mt. Province Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMFC) for being the Outstanding Police Provincial Mobile Force Company in Police Community Relations for Calendar Year 2023.

Further, the same award was also given to Buguias Municipal Police Station (MPS) of Benguet PPO for being the Outstanding Municipal Police Station in the Class “B” category, while Bakun MPS received the same award for being the Outstanding Municipal Police Station in the Class “C” category.

For the Individual Awardees, Police Commissioned Officers (PCO) who received Medalya ng Kasanayan were PLTCOL RUEL TAGEL, Acting Force Commander of the Regional Mobile Force Battalion 15 (RMFB15), as the Outstanding PCAD Senior Police Commissioned Officer, while PCPT ANGELINE DONPAEN, Public Information Officer of the Baguio City Police Office (BCPO), received the same award for being the Outstanding PCAD Junior Police Commissioned Officer.

For the Police Non-Commissioned Officers (PNCO), PMSg Luane-nelle Baydan of Pudtol MPS received the same award for having been adjudged the Outstanding PCAD Senior Police Non-Commissioned Officer, while PCpl Rodolfo Guilliao, Jr., of the Mt. Province PMFC received the same award for being the Outstanding PCAD Junior Police Non-Commissioned Officer.

Also, another Medalya ng Kasanayan was given to NUP Rodel Bagay of Tinglayan MPS, Kalinga PPO, for being the Outstanding PCAD Non-Uniformed Personnel in Police Community Relations for Calendar Year 2023. (PRO COR-PIO / File Photos)
