PROCOR conducts outreach activity in Sagada

PROCOR Regional Director, PBGEN DAVID K PEREDO, JR., together with PLTCOL RUEL TAGEL, the Acting Force Commander of the Regional Mobile Force Battalion 15 (RMFB15) initiated an outreach activity dubbed as “Malasakit Iti Kailyan”,  held in Brgy. Balugan, Sagada, Mt Province on June 10, 2023.

Present during the program were PCOL SIBLY DAWIGUEY JR., the Provincial Director of Mt. Province PPO,  PCPT AIDA ESTEBAN, the Acting Chief of Police of the Sagada Municipal Police Station (MPS), Hon. Mayor Felicito Dula of Sagada, other PROCOR police officers, and the local government officials of the municipality.

As the highlight of the activity, PBGEN PEREDO JR. led the distribution of wheelchairs to three (3) Persons with Disabilities (PWDs), while 22 solar lights,  12 water hoses,  toilet bowls, 141 pairs of slippers, and 75 grocery packs were distributed to senior citizens, students, and teachers.

The said activity was made possible with the help of the stakeholders who donated during the activity namely the “Madame of Bauang” and C & T Builders.

In his message, PBGEN PEREDO JR. thanked the Sagada LGU led by the municipal mayor, Hon. Dula for the all-out support of the programs of the PNP specifically, Sagada MPS. He also encouraged the beneficiaries both students and parents to stay motivated to pursue and aspire to fulfill their dreams because poverty or lack of material things is not a hindrance to education.

The activity aims to gather stakeholders’ support to help our kakailyan especially those who are deprived of certain services and rights in the region, and in support of the PROCOR’s DKP 3-Fold Agenda–“Disiplina at Dasal,  Kakayahan at Kaunlaran,  Pagmamahal at Pagtupad sa Tungkulin”.
