PROCOR COMMEMORATES THE 32ND PNP FOUNDING ANNIVERSARY
Celebrating another milestone of the PNP organization, the PROCOR Regional Director, PBGEN MAFELINO A BAZAR, led the men and women of the Police Regional Office Cordillera (PROCOR) in commemorating the 32nd Founding Anniversary of the PNP with the theme: “Patuloy na serbisyong publiko, Handog ng Pambansang Kapulisan na may Malasakit, Kaayusan, at Kapayapaan tungo sa Kaunlaran ng ating bayan”.
The ceremony was held at the Masigasig Grandstand in Camp Major Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet on February 20, 2023, with ISAGANI R NEREZ, the Undersecretary for Police Affairs of the Office of the Presidential Adviser on Military and Police Affairs, as the guest of honor and speaker.
Key personalities present during the ceremony were PMGEN OLIVER A ENMODIAS, the Deputy Commander of Area Police Command-Northern Luzon; PBGEN PATRICK JOSEPH G ALLAN, the Deputy Regional Director for Administration; Director Araceli A San Jose of the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) – CAR; Director Editha S. Puddoc of the National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM) – CAR; Director Julius Paderes of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) – CAR; and Jail Senior Superintendent Catherine L Abueva of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) – CAR.
As highlights of the ceremony, Atty Nerez led the presentation of awards to the deserving PROCOR cops. He was assisted by PBGEN BAZAR and other members of the PROCOR Command Group.
In his message, Atty. NEREZ recognized the great courage of PROCOR cops for maintaining a peaceful and orderly Cordillera Region in pursuit of the inherent objectives of the Government and conducive to the fulfillment of the people’s aspirations to live happily and deal with other people in harmony.
Further, as a tribute to PROCOR Cops who sacrificed their lives for the peace and tranquility of the region, Atty. Nerez and PBGEN BAZAR led the wreath-laying ceremony at the PROCOR Heroes Monument.
