PROCOR awards 4 deserving personnel and a unit

Police Regional Office Cordillera (PROCOR) awarded four (4) deserving personnel with PNP medals and a unit with a certificate of recognition during the Traditional Monday Flag Raising Ceremony at the Masigasig, Grandstand in Camp Major Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet in the morning of November 29, 2021.

PROCOR Regional Director, PBGEN RONALD OLIVER LEE, led the presentation of awards to the awardees, assisted by the members of the Command Group.

Medalya ng Kasanayan (PNP Efficiency Medal) was awarded to PSSg Eugene Acdang and PSSg Paul Chiwaen for responding to a request for medical assistance for Lolo Allan, 85 years old, wherein Bakun MPS personnel carried him through the traditional method known as “Bangtaen” from Sitio Cayapes to the Rural Health Unit of Bakun, Benguet.

Also, the same award was given to Pat Nilo Cabansi and Pat Razor Guindayan for their invaluable service rendered to Mr. Joseph Ferrer, a senior citizen, by ferrying him home using the PNP marked vehicle and carrying him despite his weight and the condition of the pathway to his house.

Meanwhile, in line with the PNP’s Intensified Cleanliness Program, a Certificate of Recognition was awarded to the Regional Explosive Ordnance Division and Canine Unit – Cordillera (RECU-COR) for being the cleanest office of the week from November 22 to 26, 2021. The award was received by the Officer-in-Charge of RECU-COR, PLTCOL PELITA TACIO. (PROCOR-PIO)
