PRO CAR Joins Simultaneous Solidarity Pact Signing For 2025 National and Local Elections

Reinforcing its commitment to ensuring a peaceful, orderly, and credible electoral process, the Police Regional Office Cordillera (PRO CAR) actively took part in the simultaneous conduct of the Solidarity Pact Signing for the 2025 National and Local Elections (NLE) and the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) Parliamentary Election on February 5, 2025.

At the PRO CAR Regional Headquarters, Camp Major Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet, the ceremony was graced by Atty. Julius D. Torres, Regional Election Director of the Commission on Elections (COMELEC-CAR), as the guest of honor and speaker, alongside PBGEN ROGELIO Z RAYMUNDO, JR, Deputy Regional Director for Administration; PCOL JULIO S LIZARDO, Deputy Regional Director for Operations; PCOL LEDON D MONTE, Chief Regional Staff; and the representatives from various government agencies and faith-based groups, including the Philippine Army, the Department of the Interior and Local Government-CAR, the Department of Education-CAR, the National Police Commission-CAR, the Bless Our Cops Movement-Cordillera, and the Baguio Muslim Association.

Meanwhile, in Kalinga, PBGEN DAVID K PEREDO, JR, Regional Director of PRO CAR, joined the Solidarity Pact Signing held at the Kalinga Police Provincial Office Headquarters, Camp Captain Juan M Duyan, Tabuk City, alongside key officials and stakeholders in the province.

As the highlight of the event, the participants simultaneously recited the Solidarity Pledge for the 2025 NLE and BARMM Parliamentary Elections, followed by the signing of the said pact. Further, the representatives from various agencies also expressed their message of support for the said activity.

This initiative reaffirms the commitment of law enforcement agencies, government institutions, and community leaders to uphold the integrity of the upcoming elections, ensuring a secure and credible electoral process in the country. (PIO PRO-CAR / File Photos)
