PRESS CONFERENCE ON SUMMIT & SEA TOURISM BUBBLE
The panelist are Baguio City Mayor Benjamin B. Magalong, San Fernando City Acting City Mayor Alfredo Pablo R. Ortega, City Councilor on Tourism Committee Elaine Sembrano, Tourism Officer of San Fernando, City Tourism Officer Engr. Alec Mapalo and some guests discussed with the media the gradual reopening of the tourism industry and slowly providing opportunities for economic recovery, the city government of Baguio in Cordillera and San Fernando in La Union, with the support of the Philippine Department of Tourism, aiming to innovate the leisure travel experience with a tourism bubble.
The S & S travel experience during these cautious times will allow individuals or groups, families or friends whether on a same-day round trip, overnight, or extended stay up for five days, to see and feel the cool highland mountains of Baguio City and the temperate breeze of the coves, beaches and waters of San Fernando City in a convenient and safe manner, with one travel registration and with unified protocols to be packaged and programmed by local tour and travel agents.
