PRC-BCC Directors honored Former Chairman Atty. Erdolfo Balajadia

BAGUIO CITY, (April 10, 2024) – A Certificate of Recognition was given to the Former Chairman of the Philippine Red Cross Baguio City Chapter Atty. Erdolfo V. Balajadia for his sterling leadership as Chairman of the Board Philippine Red Cross Baguio City Chapter close to three (3) decades of selfless devotion and commitment have catapulted the chapter to unparalleled heights of performance and achievement bringing great pride and honor not only to the chapter but to the entire Philippine Red Cross.

Through the initiative of the current Chairman of the Board Atty. Carlos M. Canilao. together with the Board of Directors on Wednesday (April 10, 2024) held at the 3rd Floor Training Center Conference Hall, Philippine Red Cross Baguio City Chapter, Harrison Road.

Board of Directors, Amparo Rimas and Richard Stone Pooten gave testimony when former Chairman Erding Balajadia was with them, and announced many achievements, especially during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic, and the projects of the Baguio Chapter can be seen by now the success of the entire organization of the board of directors remains to work for it to protect further and help the community to save lives by donating blood.

Ms. Karren Nobres, owner of American Ribs & Wings also testified about the remarkable contributions and dedicated service of the Former chairman Erding Balajadia to the Philippine Red Cross Baguio Chapter.

Councilor Betty Lourdes Tabanda also testified about the accomplishments made even when she and Erding Balajadia were together in the council, he contributed a lot of work to the city of Baguio.

Erding Balajadia was surprised by the Board’s invitation, he had no idea why he was being invited.

“Maybe they just wanted to join me at their board meeting so, I accepted their invitation, when I went up to the Red Cross building I was surprised because I saw the plans that I wanted for this board, I saw the laboratory used to be in the basement I wanted it on the second floor now it is there, ang ganda pa ng pagkakagawa, and when I reached the 3rd floor I saw the ceiling had been fixed and it has been converted into a very convenient and nice looking board room, kahit wala ako ay nangyari yun mga iniisip ko pinapanaginip ko so, I entered and I was trying to divine what will happen next until it happens and now in front of you, thank you for organizing this welcome to me,”

“I’ve not been here for quite some time and I’m very glad to be with you, this recognition although very simple.

“I thank you for this honor, I thank you for your recognition, I would like to tell you that my heart is always breath the Red Cross,” Balajadia concluded
