PNP & PDEA ARRESTS DRUG PERSONALITY IN A RAID IN APAYAO

On February 4, 2025, a local PNP-led search warrant led to the arrest of a drug personality and the confiscation of illegal drugs in Brgy. Sta. Lina, Luna, and Apayao.

The suspect, a 26-year-old male student, was inside his home in Brgy Sta Lina when the raid took place. During their search, the operatives uncovered three (3) plastic sachets containing suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride, totaling approximately 0.093 grams and valued at P632.40, as well as other drug paraphernalia.

The suspect is presently in the custody of PNP Apayao, and charges are being filed against him for violating Republic Act 9165, also known as the “Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002”. (PR)
