PNA Baguio lauded for being Most Outstanding Chapter

The City Council, during last Monday’s regular session, congratulated the Philippine Nurses Association (PNA) Baguio City chapter for being recognized as the Most Outstanding chapter during the 100th foundation anniversary of the prestigious organization last September 2, 2022.

In a resolution, local legislators stated that the PNA Baguio city chapter had been adjudged as the Most Outstanding chapter award for the 4th consecutive time since 2018.

The PNA is the professional organization of nurses in the country and since its incorporation, i8t has been a channel for all Filipino nurses in addressing diverse concerns from their respective workplaces to the pressing matters affecting their rights as Filipino citizens.

On September 2, 2022, the aforesaid organization celebrated its centennial anniversary since its incorporation on September 2, 1922.

In the celebration of its founding anniversary, the PNA also institutionalized t6he Search for the Most Outstanding chapter which is being competed by 97 local and 16 international chapters.

The council noted that the PNA Baguio city chapter had been awarded as the Most Outstanding chapter this year in recognition of its exemplary and zealousness in the implementation of various programs and services towards the achievement of the association’s mission and vision and program thrust, hence, projecting a positive image of the nursing profession and of the PNA. – Dexter A.
