PCOL TAGTAG IS THE NEW CHIEF OF KALINGA POLICE FORCE
After serving for one year and eight months, PCOL DAVY VICENTE M LIMMONG has now relinquished his command to PCOL PETER M TAGTAG JR., as the new Provincial Director of Kalinga Police Provincial Office (PPO).
During the Turn-over of Command Ceremony held at Camp Juan Duyan, Bulanao, Tabuk City, Kalinga on January 14, 2022, the symbolic passing of command from the outgoing Provincial Director to the Acting Provincial Director was presided by PROCOR Regional Director, PBGEN RONALD O LEE and was graced personally by Kalinga Provincial Governor Ferdinand B Tubban.
“I have nothing to prove to you as a leader but I know I have done my best working daily, never stopped thinking what more can I do to serve our people in this province to keep them safe and secured despite this time of health crisis”, PCOL LIMMONG said in his relinquishment of command message.
PCOL PETER TAGTAG JR., who was the former Chief of the Regional Headquarters Support Unit, assumed office as the new Provincial Director of Kalinga PPO.
In his assumption of command message, PCOL TAGTAG expressed his appreciation for the warm welcome of the men and women of Kalinga PPO.
Further, he urged the personnel to continue working with passion and utmost dedication to their duties towards sustaining the gains of the provincial police force.
“Let us focus our efforts in ensuring that this 2022 National and Local Elections will be orderly and peaceful in the province of Kalinga and this election period will be a challenge for us to sustain our participation in pursuit of a COVID free community”, PCOL TAGTAG added.
Also, Governor Tubban thanked the outgoing Provincial Director for his efficient leadership that contributed to the peace and order of Kalinga. Further, he reiterated the provincial government’s support to the PNP.
Meanwhile, PBGEN LEE said that he is confident that PCOL TAGTAG will continue to build on the achievements that the outgoing Provincial Director has accomplished.
“I hope that you will continue to build on the successes that the outgoing PD and his predecessors have achieved here. You have a great team of police officers here who are known for their discipline and commitment to service, and I am confident that you will continue what PCOL LIMMONG had started here for the betterment of Kalinga province”.
