PCOL Cula formally assume as the Commander of Abra Police Force
Following his designation as the Provincial Director of Abra PPO on January 8, 2022, PCOL MALY C CULA formally assumed his post as the new Provincial Director of Abra Provincial Police Office during the Turn Over of Command Ceremony held at Camp Juan Villamor, Bangued Abra on February 5, 2022.
PCOL CULA replaced PCOL CHRISTOPHER T ACOP, who has served as Provincial Director for one year and six months.
PCOL ACOP will assume the former post of PCOL CULA at the Regional Headquarters, the Chief of the Regional Community Affairs and Development Division.
The symbolic passing of command from the outgoing Provincial Director to the new Provincial Director was presided by PROCOR Regional Director, PBGEN RONALD O LEE and was personally graced by Hon. Joseph Sto. Niño “JB” Bernos, the Representative of the Lone District of Abra.
In Congressman Bernos’ message, he thanked the outgoing Provincial Director for his service rendered in the province. He also assures the continuous support of the province to the leadership of the new Provincial Director.
Meanwhile, PBGEN LEE commended both the outgoing and the new Provincial Director for their outstanding leadership in their previous assignment. He also expressed his confidence in PCOL CULA’s ability to continue what PCOL ACOP has done for the municipality of Abra.
“During PCOL ACOP’s tenure, the province of Abra has maintained its peaceful status, and that alone is a huge accomplishment, thanks to your proactive leadership and the collective efforts of all personnel of Abra PPO. I know the men and women of Abra PPO are sad to see you leave, however, the PNP has selected an equally outstanding new leader to take on this important task”, PBGEN LEE said. (PROCOR-PIO)
