Over P3M Worth of Illegal Drugs Seized, Eight Drug Personalities Arrested in PRO CAR’s Weeklong Drug Ops

As a result of the intensified campaign of the Police Regional Office Cordillera Administrative Region (PRO CAR) against illegal drugs, over P3M worth of illegal drugs were seized and eight drug personalities were arrested from the series of operations conducted from January 27 to February 2, 2025.

During the weeklong campaign, PRO CAR conducted a total of 9 anti-illegal drug operations that led to the confiscation of illegal drugs, including 5,490 Fully Grown Marijuana Plants, 10,005.45 grams of dried marijuana leaves and fruiting tops, 11,100.00 grams of dried marijuana stalks, and 10.50 grams of suspected shabu, with an overall Standard Drug Price (SDP) of PhP3,702,054.00.

Moreover, the campaign resulted in the arrest of eight drug personalities who were apprehended during the conduct of buy-bust operations, search warrant executions, checkpoints, and police response. Of the arrested drug personalities, six were identified as High Value Individuals and two were listed as Street Level Individual

The most notable operations occurred in the province of Benguet, where the Cabalyero Cops of Benguet Police Provincial Office (PPO) eradicated marijuana plants and confiscated illegal drugs with a total value of PhP2,164,000.00, and in the city of Baguio, where the Napino Cops of Baguio City Police Office seized illegal drugs worth PhP1,237,374.00. Meanwhile, in Kalinga, the Lumin-awa Cops of Kalinga PPO confiscated and destroyed a total of PhP300,680.00 worth of illegal drugs.

These results reflect the dedication of PRO CAR to its mission of combating illegal drugs across the region.
