Over 12M worth of Marijuana Bricks burned in Kalinga

As the result of the continuous anti-illegal drug operations being conducted in the Cordillera Region, over 12M worth of marijuana bricks were discovered in Tinglayan, Kalinga on December 07, 2022.

Based on the reports submitted to PROCOR Regional Director, PBGEN MAFELINO A BAZAR, operatives of Kalinga PPO, Regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit, and PDEA Kalinga, proceeded to Tulgao East to conduct marijuana eradication after receiving information about a marijuana plantation in the area.

Upon arriving at the said area, all marijuana plants were already harvested so the team scoured the area and they discovered five (5) abandoned sacks containing one hundred eight (108) marijuana bricks.

The marijuana bricks discovered by the operatives have a Standard Drug Price (SDP) amounting to Php 12,960,000.00

Meanwhile, an investigation is ongoing to identify the owner of the marijuana bricks. (PROCOR-PIO /File Photos)
