Oath Taking Ceremony of BCJMD JAIL ADVISORY COUNCIL
In Photos: Considered one of the unit’s most significant events in history, Chairpersons, Co-Chairpersons, and members of the newly established Advisory Council of Baguio City Jail Male Dormitory (BCJ-MD) took their Oath of Office on October 23, 2023 at the BCJ-MD Quadrangle. The ceremony was administered by JSUPT ELIZABETH A. GARCERON, Assistant Regional Director for Administration & Operation of BJMP-CAR.
The activity was in line with the celebration of the National Correctional Consciousness Week with the theme “Dekalidad sa Programang pang Piitan, Tungo sa Hangad na Pagbabago at Kaunlaran,”
Furthermore, the City Jail Warden, JSUPT APRIL ROSE WANDAG-AYANGWA expressed her deep appreciation to the newly inducted members of the Advisory Council for their unwavering support towards the organization’s vision, mission, and objectives, all of which are closely aligned with the J.A.I.L. PLAN 2040 roadmap set forth by the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology.
In response, members of the Council also expressed their Messages of Support and demonstrated their commitment as valued institutional partners of the jail and advisors to the City Jail Warden in the pursuit of holistic development initiatives for Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL).
